i will never forget the first time I heard about a 2 year old being forgotten in the car by a parent on a really hot summer day. My heart sinked deeper into my chest with drenching pain as I listened to the news anchor, and all I could say was, “oh my God! That’s my grandson Jordan‘s age.” I gasped for breath even more when I thought about how hot it was that particular day. The thought of any child suffocating in over a hundred degrees of heat nearly stopped my heart from beating. That thought alone shook me to the core. that’s when I decided this should never happen to anyone’s child ever again, so I decide my call to action would be to take action. Design a safety device that would truly make others remember our most precious cargo, our little ones.
